The Paraguayan holly leaves grown there are thoroughly cleaned after harvest and cut to a medium size. Leaves only, with no stems, twigs or other additions, make it an exceptionally rich and full-bodied yerba.
Taragui sin palo (Despalada) means real bitterness, astringency and strong cereal and nutty notes. This effect is achieved through natural drying, without the use of smoke.
