Yerba mate Selecta Molienda Gruesa 500 g
A classic Paraguayan yerba mate with a slightly lighter and milder taste than the Tradicional version, especially recommended for beginners who are wary of yerba bitterness but want to try a yerba from Paraguay.
Selecta Molienda Granulada contains coarsely ground Paraguayan holly leaves and stems, which are broken into large pieces during processing. It has a relatively mild taste with woody, grainy and nutty notes. For a Paraguayan mate, the bitterness is moderate, smoky notes are minimal and the stimulating effect is medium.
Judging by the look of the dry leaves and the taste of the infusion, it is closer to coarse-cut Argentinian flavours than to the smoky, bitter Paraguayan flavours with a finer leaf structure.
