Yerba Mate Rosamonte Organica 250 g
A new offering from Rosamonte, a brand highly regarded in Poland and known for the characteristic rose in its logo. This time, in a small (250 g) pack, you will find the traditional version without additives, with its quality confirmed by an organic certificate.
The resealable doypack contains nicely cut yerba, mainly coarsely cut leaves with some stems and a small amount of dust. When you open the pack of Rosamonte Organica, you are hit by a fairly intense woody aroma, along with hay-like and cereal-nutty accents slightly reminiscent of roasted sunflower seeds.
The infusion itself is properly intense right from the start, with bitterness and astringency at a fairly high level. There is no shortage of cereal-nutty, malty and hay-like accents. A strong start promises good flavour for many hours, and that is exactly the case here: the yerba bitterness comes first, complemented by interesting accents of bread crust and a light creaminess with a slightly salty aftertaste. A very well-built flavour that ensures you will not run out of energy during a whole day of mate drinking.
Rosamonte Organica offers very good yield, a good energy boost and distinct flavours, all from certified cultivation and quality.
According to the information currently available, nothing confirms the legendary process of ageing the yerba with rosewood. Even so, Rosamonte has a unique, delicate, even subtle sweetish aroma.
