Yerba Mate Pajarito Menta Boldo 500 g
A new herbal yerba from the Pajarito brand with mint and boldo! This is not the previous product in a new look, but a new blend with a different composition.
Pajarito Menta Boldo - as befits a Paraguayan yerba with aromatic herbs - is intended for drinking cold, as terere. That said, nothing stops you from drinking it hot as well, at any time of year.
Inside the pack you will find medium-sized leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly, with a moderate amount of dust. Compared with the previous herbal version (con Hierbas), the leaves are cut more coarsely and there is less dust.
Right after opening the pack, the aroma is strongly minty, even menthol-like and refreshing. It will undoubtedly appeal to all fans of minty yerbas and lovers of terere. From the first infusions the brew is not overly bitter or astringent - the mint and boldo effectively tone down the intensity of the typical yerba flavours. If you are expecting a strongly minty, even menthol-like yerba, you will certainly be satisfied.
In the infusion you will also find tea-like and nettle-like notes, but the mint flavour is clearly in the foreground, backed by the yerba's bitterness and astringency. This new Pajarito yerba provides a solid energy kick and a high yield, guaranteeing many hours of mate drinking.
