Opis produktu
Yerba Mate Oromate Anis (aniseed) 500 g
A herbal mate straight from Paraguay, perfectly in line with the character of varieties from this country. Produced by Oromate, a new brand on the Polish yerba mate market.
Oromate is produced by Jorge A. Eschera, a company whose beginnings date back to 1960. Its range also includes a second brand called El Agricultor.
The company is based in Colonia Independencia in the Guairá department of Paraguay and keeps improving and developing its production process. The brand focuses on modern technology and quality; for example, all surfaces in the drying room are lined with wood to avoid possible moisture, which would undoubtedly damage the leaves and stems of Paraguayan holly.
As befits a mate from Paraguay, the leaves are finely ground, with medium-sized stems and quite a lot of dust. You can't do without a proper mound, otherwise drinking this mate can be considerably more difficult.
The added anise breaks up the bitterness in an interesting way, but serves only as a pleasant background to the overall flavour. It doesn't upset the balance and the presence of anise is in no way overdone. You can also detect a light sweetness, a pleasant sharpness and an earthy infusion. It resembles the mate from FD, also in its aniseed version, and that's a very good recommendation!
Fans of Paraguayan varieties will certainly be pleased, while those who don't like dusty mate or are just starting out with yerba mate should rather look for more coarsely cut varieties, at least at the beginning of their yerba journey.
