Opis produktu
Yerba mate Los Lapachos Tradicional 500 g
A new brand in our range, with a logo featuring the distinctive lapacho tree, which often grows near Paraguayan holly and has been used in natural medicine for centuries. That said, there is no lapacho in the yerba itself :)
Interestingly, the owner of the Los Lapachos brand, Maximiliano, bears the surname Tarnowski and, as he himself admits, has Polish roots. But back to the yerba itself: it is a traditional blend with no additives from a niche plantation in the province of Misiones, and inside the pack you will find nicely cut leaves. At first glance we see coarsely cut leaves with some medium-sized stems and a moderate amount of dust. The yerba is naturally aged for 12 months.
When you open the pack, you are hit by a fairly intense aroma: strongly woody, hay-like and grainy, with a note of dried fruit (apricots or raisins). Overall the aroma is interesting, with no smoky accents, and it certainly makes you want to prepare a gourd and taste it right away.
Los Lapachos Tradicional is slightly acidic, hay-like and gently vegetal (grassy), with pleasant bitterness and tartness. You can taste woody and grainy notes and a slight creaminess on the finish with a fruity twist. Generally no smoky or heavier accents. The first pours are fairly mild, and over time the infusion gains strength and intensity.
In terms of energy it does well - neither overly strong nor too weak, just right for drinking throughout the day. Its yield is also fine, guaranteeing pleasant drinking for several hours.
