Yerba mate La Abuelita con Cannabis (with hemp) 1 kg
An interesting Uruguayan-style option in a large pack, with added industrial hemp and an unusual logo.
We are expanding our range with another yerba with the cut typical of Uruguay, i.e. mainly finely cut leaves with a minimal admixture of equally finely cut stems and a good amount of dust. Besides Paraguayan holly, it also contains industrial hemp (approx. 2%), which is completely legal in Poland, unlike Indian hemp.
Yerba la Abuelita (loosely translated from Spanish as "granny"), with its distinctive logo showing the granny in question, smells strongly grassy, herbaceous, tea-like and nettle-like. The scent is not heavy, smoky or deep, and it is similar to other Uruguayan-style yerbas.
The infusion itself is pronounced practically from the first pour and easily keeps a high level of intensity over successive refills, even beyond 1 litre per standard serving (approx. 50 g of dried leaf in the gourd). You can taste tea-like, grassy, herbaceous and nettle-like accents, as well as quite a solid bitterness and astringency. Due to the cut, it is a little more demanding than standard yerbas from Argentina or Paraguay, but it certainly makes up for this with its interesting flavour. It leaves a characteristic aftertaste on the tongue and practically invites you to keep refilling.
In terms of energy it can be described as moderate - not overly stimulating, but neither weak nor bland. Thanks to the hemp, it has a positive effect on general well-being and concentration. It will make a less demanding day more pleasant while delivering interesting taste experiences.
It performs much better than the Cosentina we used to stock - definitely worth a try!
