Yerba Mate Kurupi Jengibre Menta y Te Verde 500 g
A new version from the respected and popular Paraguayan brand Kurupi. Besides yerba mate in the form of finely cut leaves, fairly large stems and a good amount of dust, it also contains ginger, mint and green tea.
The blend is one of the highly aromatic ones, where the additions are clearly noticeable as soon as you open the pack. The aroma features slightly spicy ginger and refreshing mint.
Kurupi Jengibre Menta Te Verde is a new release that appeared in the third quarter of 2021. On the palate you will find the smoky bitterness of yerba and a light astringency mixed with the sharpness of ginger and the mildness of tea. Mint can also be tasted, which makes the blend remarkably versatile, easily suitable for drinking hot as well as refreshing terere.
The herbal additions interestingly complement the classic Paraguayan flavours without overshadowing the character and bitterness of the yerba. The blend has a very solid energising effect, and the flavour of the infusion lasts quite a long time.
Yerba mate Kurupi Jengibre Menta y Te Verde is rather a choice for those more familiar with the Paraguayan side of the yerba mate world.
