Yerba mate Indumar Tradicional 500 g
A completely new brand on the Polish Paraguayan holly market, coming from a niche plantation in the Misiones province. Since its founding in 1994, the Yerbatera Dos de Mayo cooperative has been made up of local farmers who want to preserve traditional cultivation guided by warmth, friendship, simplicity, effort and teamwork. At first, the Indumar brand supplied only the inhabitants of the Misiones and Corrientes provinces, but over time their products reached even beyond the continent. As a result, it is now present on our home yerba mate market.
Indumar's plantations are located in the central part of the Misiones province. In the final stage of production, the leaves and stems are naturally aged for 12 months, after which they are packed and shipped all over the world.
On opening the pack you will see a beautifully cut yerba consisting mainly of coarsely cut leaves with some stems and a small amount of dust. The aroma of the contents is very pleasant, slightly grainy and nutty, with woody accents as well. The aroma can be described as moderately intense, but inviting.
What flavours does the Indumar Tradicional infusion offer?
A pleasant bitterness comes to the fore, with noticeable nutty and grainy flavours. There is also moderate astringency; the flavour profile is interestingly complex, spreads pleasantly in the mouth and leaves a drying aftertaste on the tongue. The infusion is long-lasting and its flavour is good, in line with traditional Argentinian tastes, and also durable, allowing for many hours of drinking mate.
In terms of energy, it is a moderately stimulating option that will appeal to lovers of traditional varieties from the Misiones province and to those looking for new, classic flavours.
