Yerba Mate CBSe Jengibre (ginger) 500 g
The newest product from CBSe, which reached Poland a few months after its debut on its home Argentinian market. Apart from Paraguayan holly leaves and stems, this version also contains dried ginger extract and flavouring.
When you open the new blend, you are greeted by a pleasant ginger aroma, slightly woody and grainy, and gently hay-like. The leaves are not ground too finely: they are medium-sized, with some stems and a moderate amount of dust.
The flavour of CBSe Jengibre can be described as gently gingery, with noticeable bitterness and astringency, strongly grainy and quite earthy. The ginger aftertaste is released quite slowly, which is why we recommend waiting a bit longer between refills to enjoy the desired, intense ginger note. It does not dominate the yerba, but complements it in an interesting way.
The infusion is not overly sharp or heavy and is very pleasant to drink. In terms of yield it is solid, and the leaves release their flavour for a good few hours, while in terms of energy it is rather average. The infusion will help you focus and concentrate better, but do not expect an excessive energy boost.
