Opis produktu

Yerba Mate Cachamate Tradicional "Ca Cha Mai" 500 g

A new release from Cachamate, the brand with the distinctive little donkey in its logo. Cachamate is known and valued above all for its aromatic herbal blends, of which there really are many. This time, however, we have a version without any additives.

Inside the pack you will find fairly coarsely cut leaves with some stems and almost no dust. The dry leaf has a woody aroma, pleasantly grainy and nutty, gently grassy and hay-like.

Cachamate Tradicional has a nicely cut, remarkably photogenic leaf. It will not cause anyone the slightest trouble to prepare, regardless of their previous experience with yerba. That is why it should be of particular interest to those just starting their adventure with Paraguayan holly.

The taste of the infusion is certainly surprising, because the other traditional versions of Cachamate we know have always been fairly mild. This time we get a distinct bitterness and astringency right from the start, together with grainy-nutty, woody, bread-crust and hay-like notes.

It fits perfectly into Argentinian flavours at their best: it is not excessively astringent or strong, it keeps its flavour for a long time and will not disappoint fans of the Argentinian style.

In terms of yield it is solid, and the infusion provides a good dose of energy for several hours. If you like classic Argentinian yerbas without a smoky aftertaste, this is definitely the yerba for you.
