Wooden matero Nandubay "Redondo" 100-130 ml
A one-of-a-kind wooden gourd made of durable Nandubay wood with visible pieces of the tree's bark at the base that give it character. This particular model is shaped like a goblet and has a rounded base, hence its name Redondo. The gourd is rounded, has a fairly wide mouth, is stable thanks to its large base with pieces of bark and has a fairly small capacity. It will undoubtedly catch the eye of all lovers of natural gourds with a relatively small capacity, ideal for a yerba "espresso".
Unlike Palo Santo gourds, it does not have the characteristic resin aroma, but it is much more resistant to external factors and cracking. Two other versions of gourds made from this type of wood are also available.
Before first use, simply rinse the inside under warm running water and dry it thoroughly with a paper towel. There is absolutely no need to grease the inside of the gourd with oil or butter. When you finish using it for the day, we recommend rinsing the remaining yerba out of the gourd, wiping it and leaving it to dry in its natural position, opening facing up.
As this is a natural product, no two pieces are identical. They will therefore differ slightly in shape, capacity, shade and amount of bark.
