Wooden mate cup Imbuia Grande with base 250-300 ml (3 variants)
A stylish wooden cup with a base, straight from Brazil from the Arte Couro brand. Imbuia, also known as Brazilian walnut (Latin: Ocotea porosa), looks truly striking, but - importantly - it is above all durable and easy to use every day.
Thanks to its shape, the cup is ideal for preparing Brazilian chimarrao, but nothing stops you from preparing any favourite type of yerba mate in it. It does not have to be Brazilian green gold only.
Imbuia Grande comes in several colour versions: the inside of the cup has been carefully sanded, and the outside has been coated with clear paint in the natural version or painted (in the black and white versions) and then sealed to make it last longer. The cup is available in three colour variants.
Use the cup in the same way as a Palo santo: in the evening, or once a serving is completely washed out, empty it of the leaves and then rinse it gently under running water. You can gently wipe the inside with a paper towel to remove excess water and moisture. The last step is to place the cup (opening facing up) in any dry place out of direct sunlight with some air circulation. This way the cup will dry on its own within a few hours and will be ready to use the next day.
Imbuia Grande with base is an unusual wooden cup with an interesting chalice-like shape. It has a wide opening and, despite its large size, an ergonomic shape that fits easily in the hand. It will certainly appeal to fans of Brazilian green flour, as well as lovers of natural yerba mate cups with a large capacity.
The number of pieces available is limited, so we recommend not thinking about it for too long.
