Opis produktu

Popcorn corn 1 kg DeliFood

This economy pack contains corn kernels for making tasty, crunchy homemade popcorn. Popcorn is not only a snack known mainly from cinemas and cosy evenings at home watching your favourite series or film. It also has several valuable properties for our body.

The corn used to make popcorn is a rich source of dietary fibre, which has many health-promoting properties - it supports digestion, reduces the risk of developing diabetes and has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. It is also a source of polyphenols - antioxidant compounds that neutralise the harmful effects of free radicals and thus slow down ageing. Corn kernels are also a source of many vitamins and minerals. They contain, among others, phosphorus, calcium, sodium, iron and small amounts of vitamin A and B vitamins.

Making popcorn takes literally a few minutes. Instructions below.

How to prepare:

Heat a small amount of oil in a deep frying pan or a heavy-bottomed pot. Add the corn kernels to the hot oil and quickly cover with a lid. When you hear the characteristic popping of the kernels, reduce the heat. When the popping slows down to 1-2 every few seconds, turn off the heat and remove the pan from the burner. Transfer the ready popcorn to a bowl.
