We travel to Argentina with the Yerbee brand, for which this classic offering was produced, straight from the province of Misiones. Hand-picked leaves (branches) of high quality, confirmed by an organic certificate.
A blend that captures flavours close to Argentina and the Misiones province. The whole cultivation process is quite rigorous: no chemicals, pesticides or artificial fertilisers are used at any stage. All to ensure a high-quality product and excellent taste.
Yerbee Argentina Organic is a fairly coarsely cut yerba with some medium-sized stems and a minimal amount of dust. Anyone can handle it, whether an experienced mate drinker or someone taking their first steps in the world of Paraguayan holly.
The leaves are extremely photogenic and attractive to the eye - will the nice cut be reflected in the taste? It certainly will! The infusion is slightly smoky, with hay-like, grainy and nutty notes. Add to that a pleasant bitterness, moderate astringency, light sweetness and a gently astringent aftertaste on the tongue, and you get an exceptionally tasty infusion, typical of this style.
The intensity builds over time: the bitterness and astringency become much more pronounced, and the grainy and woody notes are also bolder than in the first two pours. This is undoubtedly a yerba that will appeal to fans of the Argentinian style.
Yerbee Argentina offers a solid energy boost from the infusion and a relatively high yield, which guarantees many hours of high-quality mate drinking. We highly recommend it!
