ORGANIC green tea Moya Matcha "Daily" 30 g Japanese
Matcha tea is a popular tea, in this case from Japan, characterised by its strong green colour and its form of a green powder. It comes from the Uji region in Kyoto Prefecture, known for the oldest plantations of the highest-quality Japanese tea.
Moya Matcha tea is a high-quality green tea obtained from the second and third harvests of fresh leaves from bushes that ripen under special bamboo shades. In this way the tea gains a higher L-theanine content, and the leaves themselves have an intense green colour. The leaves are picked when fully mature, then gently dried and ground into a fine powder.
It is a high-quality product whose drinking ceremony is called chanoyu.
Matcha tea, unlike classic green tea, is more intense, fresh, strongly tea-like and bitter. It is a base for interesting drinks: matcha latte, smoothies, lemonades, and also an addition to chocolate, baked goods and other sweets. Nothing stops you from preparing it on its own with water (hot or cold), milk or your favourite plant-based drink.
Available in a resealable tin, so it keeps its beautiful colour, wonderful aroma and intense flavour. It is also available in a traditional version (first and second harvest) and a luxury version (first harvest).

Traditional way of preparing Matcha Tea:
- Put two teaspoons of matcha (1.5 g) into a bowl (matchawan).
- Pour 100 ml of hot water at 80°C over it.
- Whisk vigorously with a chasen (bamboo whisk).
- Make movements resembling the letter "M" until a thick green foam forms. This should take about 30 seconds.
- Then you can add more water, depending on how intense a tea infusion you want.
