Biscuits that are iconic in Argentina, combining sweet vanilla with a strawberry bubblegum flavour, made by Bagley and often enjoyed as a snack with yerba, coffee or tea. To some extent they resemble the Polish "markizy" sandwich biscuits with filling.
Many Argentinians cannot imagine not snacking on a few Merengadas biscuits or don Satur crackers with their favourite yerba mate every now and then - depending on whether they prefer sweet or savoury snacks.
