Matero Palo Santo Premium "Huevito" Arana 135 ml
A beautiful premium matero (mate gourd) from Paraguay, made of aromatic Palo Santo wood. The fine piece of wood is complemented by rich silver ornamentation on the upper and lower parts of the gourd.
This is undoubtedly a gourd whose craftsmanship catches the eye. The Palo Santo matero has a virola (rim) made of 600 silver, meaning it contains at least 60% silver. Its surface features hand-made floral ornamentation that gives the gourd its character. Similar decorations can be seen on the base, where 3 small feet ensure stability and ease of use. The base is stamped with the Arana brand mark, confirming the product's authenticity.
Palo Santo Premium "Huevito" from Arana is a breath of fresh air on the Polish yerba mate market. Its price reflects the value of the precious metal (silver), the careful handcrafting of each ornament and the value of the other materials (wood).
If you are a fan of the Paraguayan style and like Arana's silverware, this is definitely the matero for you. It fits perfectly in the hand; its capacity (approx. 135 ml) is relatively small, but it will certainly be enough for a modest serving lasting 2-3 hours.
Important notes!
In this type of gourd, it is recommended to fill with yerba and water below the level where the silver virola meets the wood.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight or other heat sources (fireplace, radiator, etc.).
To ensure a long life for the gourd, empty it of the leaves on the same day, then gently rinse the inside and wipe away any remaining yerba and moisture. Then leave it to dry in an upright position for several hours.
Store in an airy and, above all, dry place where it will not be constantly exposed to sunlight.
Individual gourds may differ slightly in wood shade and shape. The number of available pieces is very limited.
