Erva Mate Parana Loose Green Yerba 250 g Vacuum
A deep green version of Brazilian yerba, already known in Poland, from small family production by the Erva Mate Parana brand. The pack contains coarsely cut leaves of a beautiful colour, vacuum-packed to preserve their freshness and unique flavour. Available in a smaller trial pack.
This is another product from EMP after the well-known Chimarrao and Tropeira - Tipo PU-1 versions, the latter being an aged, fairly finely ground mate in the Uruguayan style. In this version you will see beautiful, deep green leaves, a small amount of stems and a negligible amount of dust.
Everything is vacuum-packed, skipping the ageing process, to preserve the intense aroma and colour of the leaves. This guarantees top-level flavour at a very affordable price.
Focusing on the flavour of EMP Loose Green Yerba (coarsely cut leaves), you will notice intense grassy notes, light smokiness and noticeable bitterness, blending with astringency, light sweetness and creaminess. A true festival of flavours and aromas that many a fan of Paraguayan holly will appreciate. Another plus is its longevity: pouring a litre of water through a standard serving (approx. 40-50 g) is not a problem. The flavour stays intense and bold.
It is also available in a 500 g version, likewise vacuum-packed but additionally placed in a cardboard box.
Erva Mate Parana is a small family company growing and producing Paraguayan holly on a small scale. Its products have rarely been available in Poland until now, so it's worth taking the opportunity to try this excellent product made with passion and love.
