Erva Mate Elacy Chimarrao Moida Grossa 500 g Vacuum
A classic, stimulating yerba mate straight from Brazil from a highly regarded brand, Elacy, which we have not offered until now. It contains both finely ground and more coarsely cut leaves of the Paraguayan holly, as well as some medium-sized stems. Chimarrao is most popular in the southern part of Brazil.
Erva mate Elacy Moida Grossa consists mainly of very finely ground leaves with a strong, intense green colour. Thanks to vacuum packing, the leaves keep their beautiful colour, fresh taste and aroma for longer.
Elacy Chimarrao is a yerba mate that can only be prepared the Brazilian way, i.e. using the chimarrao method: pour the leaves into one side of a large vessel and fill the empty space on the other side with water that has been left to cool. Wait until the mate soaks up the water, then place a bombilla with a large, flat filter in the vessel, pushing the mate to one side so that the filter rests against the leaves, forming a so-called slope. Then top up with water. It can be refilled many times, until the flavour and aroma are completely washed out.
