A new take on the 1000-hole filter that many of you already know, available in two variants. In this case it is a bombilla with a spoon-shaped filter, not a bomba with a flattened round filter.
The filter guarantees excellent filtering of finely ground Paraguayan and Uruguayan yerbas; it is recommended for practically all types of yerba mate except Brazilian chimarrao.
Bombilla Bortonaggio Cuchara Pequena "Oro" 19 cm is a product from Brazil, distinguished by its high build quality and durability. It has a strongly curved, thickened gold-plated mouthpiece and a ribbed straw that gives it character. However, the most important element here is the unscrewable spoon filter with 1000 holes (mil furos). The technology developed by Bortonaggio ensures that you can enjoy the flavour of more finely ground varieties, with only the infusion reaching the straw while smaller particles and dust stay in the matero (mate gourd).
It comes in an elegant black cardboard box with the Bortonaggio logo, which also contains a brush for cleaning the inside of the straw. We recommend washing the outside thoroughly with detergent after each day of use, like other cutlery, and cleaning the inside with the included brush once every week or two.

Before first use, we recommend washing it thoroughly with detergent under running water and rinsing it with boiling water.
The gourd shown in the photo is not part of the set - it only serves as a stand for the bombilla.
