Black tea Yunnan 50/100 g
The history of this tea goes back to Yunnan province in China, where it gained its popularity - not only in Asia, but all over the world. Many consider it one of the best black teas. It is often used as a base for a wide range of tea blends.
Unlike green tea, Yunnan tea undergoes fermentation, which makes its leaves darken to a deep brown, almost black colour - hence its name.
The infusion has an intense dark colour, a distinct bitterness and a strong character. It is definitely a choice for fans of classic, strong teas.
How to brew Yunnan tea:
- Put 1 teaspoon of tea into a cup/strainer/infuser.
- Pour over water (maximum 200 ml) at 95 degrees Celsius.
- Steep covered for about 2-3 minutes.
- Then separate the leaves from the infusion.
