Opis produktu
Agar 100 g Vivio
Agar is an interesting alternative to gelatine, mainly because of its origin and properties. Agar is a plant-based product (obtained from algae), so it is perfectly suitable for vegans and vegetarians. It also has fewer calories than gelatine: 100 g of agar has 306 calories, while 100 g of gelatine has 343.
It is a completely natural product obtained from red algae; it is odourless and tasteless. No additives or preservatives.
Agar - properties:
- Supports digestion and cleanses the body of toxins,
- It can be dissolved again if the consistency is not right, and re-prepared in the correct proportions,
- Use it in a ratio of 10 g of agar per 1 litre of water,
- It sets at 32-35 degrees Celsius, so desserts or jellies made with agar do not need to be chilled in the fridge,
- Agar dissolves at 85-95 degrees Celsius,
- First mix it with a small amount of water, then boil for about 10 minutes.
Agar - uses:
- jellies,
- "ptasie mleczko"-style marshmallow desserts,
- jams.
Agar - how to make a fruit jelly:
Ingredients:
- 500 ml of cherry/raspberry or other fruit juice,
- 5 g of agar (about 1 teaspoon),
- fresh fruit.
- Cut the fresh fruit into small pieces or cubes.
- Dissolve the agar in warm juice and boil for about 10 minutes until it has completely dissolved.
- Place the chopped fresh fruit in bowls and gently pour the agar jelly over it.
- Leave to cool in a cool place.
- Once cooled, it is ready to eat. Enjoy! :)
Consumed in small amounts, it poses no risk and causes no side effects.
